Post 2: What are social media platforms?

Some social media platforms are-

 It is commonly said now that Facebook is old and dated, but I personally find Facebook to be the most user friendly and relevant social media platform for keeping in touch with family and friends and sharing good news.  

                                     

Twitter's primary purpose is to connect people and allows people to connect with a large audience. I have tried connecting with twitter but could not find any interest in it.

  

On a device or on the web, viewers can watch and discover millions of personalised short videos. A world wide sensation, but how long will it last. Not long I think.

                                        

Snapchat is another social media platform that shares pictures and messages, but it has some features that make it different. One of these features of snapchat is the pictures and messages are only available for a short time before they become inaccessible to the recipience.

 

Instagram is another video sharing social media platform and was launched in 2010 so is popular with a younger demographic. Also it is owned by Facebook.
